And Caitlyn Jenner cut a somewhat glum figure on Tuesday night, as she headed out for dinner with a friend in LA.

The star, 67, slipped into a glamorous black maxi dress as she joined a pal at the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel – but failed to crack a smile after being slammed by her step-daughters.

The TV personality was casually chic in a long-sleeved black maxi dress, which saucily scooped at the neck and cinched in at her waist with a buckled belt. 

Proving her natural sense of style from head to toe, she teamed the frock with studded black sandals and a sleek leather handbag, which she carried on one arm. 

The New York native left her hair in loose waves and opted for minimal make-up, to complete her natural, relaxed look as she stepped out for a low-key dinner.

However despite heading for dinner with an equally glamorous friend, Caitlyn cut a somewhat glum figure as she stepped out – after being criticised by Kim and Khloe. 

On the season premiere of Keeping Up With The Kardashians last week, the glamorous family started seeing reports of key details in Caitlyn’s bombshell book, The Secrets Of My Life.

Perhaps most shockingly, Kim insisted Caitlyn had hand-delivered her a copy of the book, which contained tales likely to upset many members of the family.

Khloe went on to brand Caitlyn a ‘bad, mean person’, while Kim was quick to call her a ‘liar’.

With things going from bad to worse, Kim then revealed she had read about Caitlyn’s gender reassignment confession on the news – with shocked sister Kourtney asking: ‘So that means they snipped?’

‘Yeah they snipped.

But why couldn’t she say that to us?’ Kim asked, clearly upset.

Kim then insisted that Caitlyn’s approach to everything is ‘woe is me, woe is me’ — with Khloe adding in an exaggerated voice: ‘I’m the victim and they don’t want to see me!’

Not talking: After discovering the contents of the book, Khloe (above) said she wasn’t talking to Caitlyn because she’s a ‘bad, mean person’

Furious: Meanwhile Kim (pictured with Kourtney) was upset that Caitlyn gave her a copy of the memoir with parts edited out, and branded her a ‘liar’ 

‘Oh f**k off,’ she added angrily.

‘And it’s not ’cause your trans. That’s not why I’m not talking to you. I’m not talking to you because you’re a bad, mean person.’

Kim seemed most upset that Caitlyn had deliberately misled her, saying in an on-camera confessional: ‘I just don’t get why you would go to the trouble of giving me a book, and saying, ”Here’s my book, I want you to read it.”

‘Clearly she gave me a different book with everything edited out that she didn’t want us to see.

It’s just again that, like, fakeness,’ she added.
